Dry clean only — strongly recommended to preserve the hand-painted Godana artwork
If hand washing is necessary, use cold water with a very mild, colour-safe detergent
Do not soak — limit immersion to under 2 minutes
Do not wring or twist — gently press out excess water and lay flat on a clean towel to dry in shade
Do not machine wash or tumble dry — agitation will damage the painted surface
Dry in shade — avoid direct sunlight, which can fade the artwork over time
Ironing: Iron on the reverse side only on a low / silk setting
Place a thin cotton cloth between the iron and the dupatta — never iron directly on the painted surface
Do not use steam on the painted areas
Avoid contact with perfume, deodorant, or harsh chemicals on the painted area

Store folded in a muslin cloth to protect the artwork
Keep away from direct sunlight for extended periods
